How We Worship
"Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound; they shall walk O LORD, in the light of thy countenance." – Psalm 89:15
At The Congregation in San Felipe, we believe every service should be a point of contact with a real, living God who powerfully impacts those who seek Him. That's why in every one of our services we seek a genuine visitation of the presence of God, and we worship Him joyfully as instructed in Psalm 150:
"Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord."
We Worship God by:

...Lifting our Hands
Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord. -Psalm 134:1-2
...Clapping and Shouting
O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. -Psalm 47:1
...Singing and Dancing
Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. -Psalm 149:3
...Making a Joyful Noise
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. -Psalm 95:2
...Speaking in Tongues
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. -Acts 2:4
...Leaping for Joy
Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven.... - Luke 6:23
